Welcome to the Ethiopian Business Coalition Against HIV/AIDS.

Approximately 1.3million people are living with HIV in Ethiopia and the national averages of HIV prevalence and vulnerabilty factors are estimated at 3.5% nationally, 10.5% in the urban areas and 1.9% in the rural areas.  It is said that HIV prevalence and vulnerability factors in the business community are higher than the national averages.

Every business in Ethiopia is likely to encounter HIV/AIDS among its workforce.

The Ethiopian Business Coalition Against HIV/AIDS (EBCA) is the business response to the disease in Ethiopia. We are working to protect the business community, their workforce and the communities where businesses operate, from the threat of HIV/AIDS and other identified social development challenges.
